Free Wedding Toasts Can Be Found at Several Websites

Posted under Wedding Toasts on Wednesday 14 June 2006

There are scores of websites where one can access free wedding toasts. These toasts have been collected and posted by good Samaritans to help the bride and the groom, not to forget the Best Man. Most of these toasts have been beaten to death by overuse. But they are still fun to read. Here are some free toasts that have been made in the name of Bride and Groom at numerous weddings:

May the roof above you never fall in and may you both never fall out.

Marriage is a community consisting of a master, a mistress, and two slaves - making in all, two.

May we all be invited to your golden wedding celebrations.

Here’s to the groom with bride so fair, And here’s to the bride with groom so rare!

May the most you wish for be the least you get.

Happy marriages begin when we marry the one we love, and they blossom when we love the one we married.

May all your ups and downs come only in the bedroom.

Clearly, much effort went into making these little gems. Each free toast is a pun or has a nice twist in the tale. These wedding toasts have brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of brides and grooms, even though they may have been heard at umpteen weddings.

There is a similar range of great toasts made in the name of the bride. Here are two such beauties:

May she share everything with her husband, including the housework.

She knows all about me and loves me just the same.

Similar free toasts are also available for the groom.

To the man who has conquered the bride’s heart, and her mother’s.

Here’s to the groom, a man who keeps his head though he loses his heart.

There is no copyright violation in repeating the toasts. The ones who made these are no longer with us. We can use them freely, just as they must have used it in their time.
